Mentoring Matters is designed to help youth navigate challenging life transitions, academic performance, as well as career and personal development. We connect our participants with professionals from a diverse range of industries. Our mentors provide participants with individualized attention, 1-on-1 support and help foster new skills.

Through curated trips and experiences—from corporate office visits and career panels to college tours and amusement parks—we broaden our participants' horizons and plant seeds of possibility. These moments create lasting impact, offering inspiration and insight into worlds they may have never imagined accessible.

Our community events brings the whole family outside! From intimate workshops to block parties these gatherings bring people together to denounce violence, celebrate culture, and respond to the critical needs of our neighborhoods.

Keepin’ It Real Life Skills Program – a hands-on, real-world series designed to empower youth with the tools they need to succeed in life, school, and beyond. This program covers everything from communication, goal-setting, and self-awareness to money management, career prep, and wellness – all in a culturally relevant, supportive environment.

For ages 16-24
All students get meals, a stipend, a metro card, and more BUT you must come to all six classes.
